PMC Combat Events Overview
This page will go over the various types of combat events and operations we embark on. These events take what is learned from trainings and applies them in actual situations. These events can be with allied factions or against the environment. Combat Events can take place in a myriad of different landscapes, terrains, conditions, you name it. Thanks to the people in our RGE Department and by extension, the Lore Writing Department for bringing us the various maps and operational zones we operate in.
Deployments
Deployments are events where the host selects various locations in the map to target, hosts sometimes also add a small bit of story behind a Deployment. The number of strongholds a Deployment usually captures is three different locations, but the host may choose less or more at their discretion. In Deployments, our operatives may choose to insert into enemy locations in many ways such as a frontal charge, parachuting in, or infiltrating the target base.
From there, Operatives will be communicating their current taskings, objectives and what they are currently doing. Operatives will split into squads and split up to both conquer the target area faster and to emphasize small squad tactics. However if there’s a low number of attendees, one squad will suffice.
Overall, Deployments are the main force for our Operatives building and improving their practical skills and fighting. This will help them join divisions and fighting other players.
Operations/Deployments
Lore Operations
Lore Operations are larger versions of regular Operations and usually have more than ten participants (not including hosts or co-hosts). This event is hosted by higher ranked Shadow Company officers in cooperation with the Department of Creation and in return, attending gives Operatives more experience and practical experience, as well as giving more progression for their rank then the two aforementioned events.
Bunker Raids
Bunker Raids are similar to Mass Operations but instead of only targeting some locations in Ronograd, all strongholds of interest are targeted to gain intel to initiate the bunker raid. After all intel is gathered, all Operatives are to gear up and clear the bunker entrance in preparation for the main bunker raid. During the grace period after clearing the entrance area, final checks will be done and when the timer is up, everyone in the entrance area will proceed to raid the bunker, Operatives out side will be left behind.
